The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This abandoned building was called Granite House. It is on the Good Will Hinkley School grounds and once housed paintings by Charles D. Hubbard of granite quarries in Maine. It also had displays of minerals and stones. Today it's overgrown and in the woods, accessible by walk trails.

I picked up my first camera and started taking photographs in 1978 on a family trip across country.
